Bed to bath —and back again?!
I saved the above shower portion of this room as a reference for an outbuilding conversion I've been contemplating. I didn't notice until today that the bed featured on the back of the page is the same room. (The coloration is as different in the original photos as is showing here.)
There is something very appealing to me about this casual, open concept. It is minimal, yet exudes a sensual, cozy attitude, as well. The wall of windows and connection to the lush landscape is essential to the designs overall success, I'd say. All in all, practically perfect for the guest quarters I have in mind.
Let's see now...I'd just add a stack of books and a vase of ranunculus clipped from the garden and, Oh! Maybe a wingback chair in a white slipcover, —down-filled and inviting for reading. And in winter, it would be nice to have a sheepskin rug and...
